Google indexing – www and without www indexed, what to do?

Hey guys,

I indexed the sitemap with both www and without www in the GSC at the same time, so some pages can be found online with and without. This is causing me major problems with further indexing. I've decided to select my website without www, so I've now uploaded my sitemap without www as well.

As you can imagine, nothing happens, all of the recognized pages cannot be indexed, many www pages can still be found on the Internet, etc. I just want to reindex my page from 0 or solve it so that all of my pages can be found without www.

Unfortunately I can't find a solution on the internet, I really hope you have one for me?!

I am grateful for any help!

Nothing. I don't care.

Well, you don't have a problem either 😉

Write on each side the meta element rel=canonical with the desired address and is good.

Then in the .htaccess

 RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^ www.example.org$ [NC] RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://www.example.org/$1 [L,R=301]

And then you wait.

I'm annoyed by the fact that this whole thing takes so long.

Are your pages found? If so, it's all right. Are they not found? This is certainly not because they are listed with and without www.
