Is this a good washing system?

Hello, my question is how do you wash your clothes?
I've been doing this for a year now:

I always wash towels, bed linen and underwear at 60 degrees but separately, of course dark and white

I also separate the remaining clothes (sweaters, trousers, socks, etc.) into dark and white, of course I wash them all at 40 degrees

So far, I've been able to cope with it very well and feel like it's the right thing to do. Not a single thing has discolored. I run the washing machine every 2-3 days (there are three of us).

In itself good but kitchen linen and cleaning cloths should be washed at 90 degrees and optionally with prewash

I wash white linen and also handkerchiefs as cooking linen at 95° and stained linen at 60°. I wash warm colors (yellow, red) and cold colors (blue, green, black) separated from each other. My laundry consists mainly of pure cotton. Underwear and bed linen are NOT white, stretch bed sheets and underpants are e.g. dark blue. I can only cook the handkerchiefs and socks.

I’m single. When I was still working I washed every 14 days, as I said with the three fillings of cooking linen, warm-colored lingerie and cold-colored lingerie. How often I wash as a pensioner, I don’t want to express myself, but I wash myself every day, also hair.

I made my own washing machine late. Before that, I’ve been in the launderette for decades.

For drying, we have tenants in the multi-family house a drying room in the basement, where you can either take coin dryers or hang the laundry on the leash. I hang them on the leash and make sure that the window is open, others keep doing it.

Do I do that… I just don’t trust this cold wash…
