I studied law and worked in construction. As far as health insurance goes, as far as I know, you're required to have statutory health insurance once you reach a certain salary. Unfortunately, I don't know the details.

Being a working student only means tax relief for the company: you only have to pay pension insurance contributions!
Of course, you can also take out private health insurance instead of student health insurance…
