Is it worth studying IT?

I'm almost in the second year of my apprenticeship as an IT specialist for application development, and I'm wondering whether or not I should study IT after graduation. Is there a significant salary increase or any major benefits after graduation, or would my professional life be more or less the same if I started working directly after graduation without a degree?

You mean computer science.

This usually opens up opportunities for you after graduation that aren't accessible with a "mere" apprenticeship. For example, an architect. Someone with an apprenticeship usually has to "develop" to get there.

Higher-level jobs usually also come with a higher salary.
