Best RTX 4060 Ti 16gb graphics card?
Hello, I want to build a new gaming PC in two months for around €1500 and wanted to know which RTX 4060 Ti with 16GB VRAM is the best. There are many models from various manufacturers, such as Asus, KFA2, MSI, Palit, etc., with one fan, two fans, or even three fans. Now my question is, which is the best or more worthwhile? Price doesn't really matter.
I think the ones from MSI look the best but which one is it really? They all have different names, eg Gaming X, Gaming X Slim, Ventus x2/x3 etc.
PS: I definitely want an RTX 4060 Ti with 16GB or an RTX 4070 Ti if there's one for €500. So please, no, it's fib, but better ones from AMD 😉
The best would be the ProArt from Asus.
Very stable and high-quality construction, good cooling and plenty of reserves for further OC
However, it is not a gaming graphics card, but rather a workhorse for (semi-) professional applications such as AI, video editing, etc.
So no RGB bling bling or similar gimmicks.
Gaming is also possible, of course, it's not a Quadro.
If you need something like that, then the PNY Verto XLR8 or an MSI gaming x slim/trio are better.
The 16 GB 4060 Ti is a very, very good card for artists and programmers, but somewhat suboptimal for gaming due to the poor memory connection.
So if you are looking for FPS, I would rather go for the 4070 or the AMD 6700 XT
Stay away from the 4060ti. It has no right to exist. Unless the price has dropped significantly. Gamers Nexus is a reliable source for hardware info, and they advise against the 4060ti.
I'd say it depends on whether you want to play games in FHD or QHD, as 16GB is significantly better. The fans aren't really that important.
A 4060Ti for €1500 is pretty weak. What kind of configuration is that?
The whole PC should cost 1500€ not the graphics card, so everything should be good and not rtx 4090 ti for 1000€+ and the rest just garbage
I understand that, but the configuration is simply not good.
R5 7600 200€ MB 160€ RAM 100€ M2 SSD 60€ Case 80€ Cooler 40€ PSU 100€ =750€ for everything except graphics card, then you still have 740€..
Then you just get a 7800 XT for €530 and still have €210 left for upgrades (or a better GPU). A faster CPU costs €100, so get an R7 7700x, and you'll still have €110 left. For €50 more, you can get a 2TB M2 SSD, and then you'll have €60 left over to buy fans, and that's it.
In any case, a 4060 is not good for the price.
