Swap service back spontaneously?

A week ago I swapped shifts with a colleague for an appointment that is very important to me personally.

I have the day off today and forgot to mute my work phone. So I couldn't help it and checked it when I got a notification. It was my colleague sending me a text asking if we could swap shifts again.

I often jump in, too, and I'm tired of all this back and forth. I have the day off today, and I'd like to simply tell her the day after tomorrow that I didn't read her message and then offer to swap with her on another day, which she can choose.
what do you think about it?

She's just asking. You can't make it that day, otherwise you wouldn't have swapped. Just tell her that.
