New GPU is 100% loaded and over 60 degrees?

Hello

The new GPU I bought (RX 6600 XT) isn't working perfectly. It once worked, but the load was below 50% and the game ran smoothly, but now it doesn't. Everything is connected, including the power supply and other components. I only had one GPU before (iGPU). I also installed the GPU, but there's still no difference. I'd appreciate a reply:

It could be due to several things:

  • Have you put the GPU in the top slot (the 1st slot down to the CPU)
  • Maybe it is too hot in your PC case (poor air flow)
  • Does your power supply have enough wattage to supply your GPU (you can check on PC Part Picker, you don't even have to register)

hope it helped

Okay, as I said, look at PC Part picker to see how much it draws and what kind of power supply you should have because 500 might not be enough for the full potential, which case do you have, you know that

Which operating system do you have, which tasks are active, which autostart programs are running on your computer (list everything). Without information there is no help.

Production error?

Possibly broken?

Maybe you can send them back 🤷‍♂️
