Configure your own gaming PC without any experience?

Hey, I want to build myself a gaming PC, or rather, configure it myself and have a friend build it for me. However, I know absolutely nothing about PCs, so I'm having a hard time finding parts that are compatible with each other and that fit the "Lian Li O11 Dynamic Evo" case. Can anyone help me?

Ps: Aesthetics are very important to me (eg RGBs within the PC would be a must), but of course the performance should also be right for the price (I have a budget of 1500€- 1800€ for the PC)

Thank you, I look forward to every single answer! 🙂

For starters, just a 4070 is great. You can get equally good RGB fans in a pack of three for €40 or €140. If I were you, I'd wait for the upcoming Ryzen generation, as even a 12-core processor will be within your budget. A lot of options are possible with this case's power supply, since you can't see it anyway. I'd still go for a fully modular one for easier cable management. Plus, you can swap out the cables for colored ones.

I would get a 2TB SSD with TLC storage.

mainboard you should see if something new comes out in the short term

So, on most sites where you can buy components, you'll be shown whether they're compatible with each other. And you can often have them assembled in a case, so you can put it together yourself. However, the assembly is done by someone who knows what they're doing, and they'll send it to you ready-made.

I have no idea either. Alternate helped me. I then posted the parts here as a question and asked for feedback.
