Forgot to send the Jobcenter application for continued approval?

My citizen's allowance application expires in a few days, on the 31st. And I forgot to send in the application for continued approval. They said it could take up to three weeks to process. If I send this application on Monday, the 1st, will I also receive my citizen's allowance for this month, ie, for April?

If your notice is only approved until March 31, then you received the last citizen's allowance for March at the end of February.

If your application is received by the Jobcenter in April and is then approved, the application will be backdated to April 1st, meaning you will receive a back payment for April retroactively as soon as the application has been processed and approved.

If it takes a few weeks as announced, it could of course happen that you receive two payments in a row: once your back payment for April and then at the end of April the payment in advance for May.

You will only receive money again once the continued payment application has been processed and approved…

If the application is received in April, payment will also be made for April

Will be paid retroactively for April. But it may be before the money arrives.
