Remote job abroad in Germany?

Hello,

I was thinking about getting a remote job in Dubai or Switzerland, but continuing to live in Germany.

Is this possible in principle? Or are there German/EU laws that prohibit it?

I realize there's probably double taxation. For example, Dubai is 8% and Germany is 42%.

It would still be interesting for me because I would earn 800,000 AED in Dubai for the job and it is 100% remote.

Do you have any knowledge or even experience about this?

You're taxing where you live most of the year.

Foreign companies can't hire you if you don't live there. They should send you away. Then you pay your taxes completely in Germany.

"Job" "take"?

You have to be able to find something interesting for employers (also abroad) – this is what is possible
