Engineering studies but no knowledge?
Hello dear people, I finished my studies as a medical engineer at the age of 26 and after a year of application I will start working in a hospital.
To be honest, I actually only liked the 20% of the engineering/medical program more than the medical one, and I managed to push through the engineering. It was very difficult and tough.
Now I'm worried that the tasks in the hospital would be very difficult for me, and that my ability to absorb information (I haven't really been productive since college, except for boxing training twice a week) won't be as strong as it was at university. I'm also noticing that I can't remember as many (difficult) things as I used to.
I'm afraid that I'll be given a lot of tasks and I won't understand them or simply won't be able to remember them and I won't be able to cope with them.
Can I motivate myself to become one of the best medical technicians in the hospital? (There are only 5 for 1,800 employees)
I mean, I even forgot how a simple circuit works because I wasn't really interested in it. Could I quickly learn things like that again?
Could I get my brain to concentrate 100% and work in a structured manner from 8am onwards? Do you have any tips for being fully awake and receptive in the morning?
Please no advice to study something else or do something else, I don't want to do that anymore, I would like to go to work and enjoy my life.
🙂
Genau so gut reicht völlig.
