Big belly from changing cigarette brands?

My girlfriend (37 years old, very slim) changed her cigarette brand a week ago. From a relatively strong brand to one with a very low nicotine and tar content (R1 Blue).

She's had a "big" belly for a few days now, without any pain. It seems bloated.

Is there perhaps a connection?
Does anyone have experience with this and a tip on how to reduce the "fat" looking belly?

Cigarettes don't cause a belly.

Cigarettes don't cause a fat belly. It must have another cause.

Maybe he thinks the cigarette after that, but there's not the cigarette.
