What size monitors?

Hello.

I program a lot, both in my free time and now also professionally. I often use two or three split-view windows in my IDE because otherwise I simply can't see anything.

I currently have 2 monitors:

1x 27 inch (Main)
1x 20 inch

I'm starting to find the split views pretty annoying; you just can't see enough. Since I often only have a split view on the main screen, it would be easy to fix the problem by adding another screen. But I don't know yet how big the screens should be.

I also need a new table, as it's already full with the two screens. I was thinking about getting rid of the 20-inch monitor and getting two 24-inch monitors.

That would require a pretty large table, wouldn't it? What sizes do you have for your two screens? What would you recommend?
