Can I replace apples in an apple pie recipe with frozen fruit?
I don't have any apples at home right now, but I do have tons of frozen berries. Can I use them instead of apples? If so, what should I keep in mind?

Since TK and berries have more juice than apples, you should soak and drain the berries beforehand, otherwise the pie may be soaky.
However, you could also try to connect the berries with a little gelling agent after the thawing so that the liquid can not meht anything.
You can also take the berries, but let them froze in a sieve. Otherwise they could become muddy.
