Brother DCP-3550 control panel not responding?

Hello,

I recently purchased a Brother DCP-3550 color laser printer. Setting it up was quite easy.

At launch, I had the problem that I couldn't select a single function on the home page. This problem suddenly disappeared.

Now I'm suddenly having the exact same problem again. I can't select anything on the home page of the control panel. However, if I tap a number on the keyboard, the Copy menu appears and I can easily adjust the settings. If I then tap the Home button again to go to the home page of the control panel, I'm still unable to select a function.

I would be very grateful for any helpful answers on how I can finally use the control panel without any problems, including all the settings!

I've already reset and reconfigured the printer. It didn't help.
