I find the feature of turning off both transparency mode and active noise cancellation very useful, as if you're wearing the AirPods in bed, for example, the friction against the fabric is transmitted very loudly. just go into the options on Bluetooth
and push on the controller “Hörmode Aus”.
It wasn’t removed. Use your AirPods and connect them to your terminal. Go to settings > Bluetooth and tap (i) at AirPods. Here you can set the noise control modes under “AirPods” that can be activated by pressure on the AirPods.

At iPad it is the same way. If the radio was completely missing, I would contact the support. Maybe an update is missing.
