Which CPU fan for an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D?

Hello my love,

I want to upgrade my CPU and install an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D.

I'm currently still using the Boxt cooler, which I would also like to replace.

Is a be quiet! Pure Rock 2 FX tower cooler sufficient for this?

or would you recommend another one?

I can go up to a maximum installation height of 160mm 🙂

Thank you in advance 🙂

Hello!

The AMD series cooler is quite weak and very loud.

Try it with the

Scythe Ninja 5 Rev. B (miser)

This is only 155 mm high, but otherwise a monster of 1.2kg.

The two 120mm fans rotate from 300 to 800 RPM and are thus inaudibly quiet.

The smaller alternative if

Scythe Mugen 5 Rev. C (Black Edition) ( Miser )

This is 154.5mm high. A 2nd 120mm fan can also be mounted at the rear to reinforce the air flow.

There are several variants.

This brand manufacturer Scythe is known to offer a slightly lower CPU cooler.

And absolute need In the "Ninja 5" it is also possible to retrograde other 120mm fans which can then rotate, for example, at 1600 RPM, or also significantly faster.

Or, if it must be absolutely, also (high quality) LED fans.

I hope you can start with it.

Greeting

Martin

Hello,

when it goes, I recommend the beQuiet Dark Rock 4. It's 159mm high. Alternatively, the Arctic Freezer 34 eSports Duo is 157mm high.

He's a little weak on his chest. It's okay, but maybe it's loud. Maybe look at the Thermalright Peerless Assasain 120 instead. For the money you hardly get better
