Working student/BAföG?

Hello,

I'm currently receiving student loans (BAföG) and would now like to work as a student employee. There's a tax allowance for student loans, which is around €6,281, or about €520 per month. This means I can't exceed the annual allowance, or I can't earn more than €520 per month. I had planned to only work as a student employee for six months anyway, earning, say, €800 in the first few months and €500 in the remaining months. This way, I wouldn't exceed the annual allowance.

The income is considered for the entire period of authorization (not the calendar year!). You can also be over €520 if you come over in other months.
