Graphics card connector?

Hello, I'm currently building a PC for the first time and I have a problem with the graphics card and the PCI-E connector. The graphics card has 6 pins and the PCI-E connector has 8 pins. Is there an adapter or another solution?

Thank you in advance

You can see on the 8 pin that one has a thickening. This is a 6+2 pin plug. So you can change it. That seems to be just pushed in your case. So just push the front or back, then the 2 pin plug releases and you have the 6pin

This is a 6+2 plug. So you just have to leave the 2 away, then it fits and works.
