Au pair, but live externally?
Hey ☺️
I'll be 18 this year and will finish school by then. I really want to move out, but I'm not sure how I'll finance it. I want to be independent, do a lot of sports, and devote myself to things I enjoy, like hobbies.
At the same time, I also want to feel productive, so I thought about being an au pair, partly because I enjoy working with children. I'd like to have that feeling of living alone and also be more independent. I'm also really afraid of being taken advantage of by my family (you hear a lot of stories about this).
That's why I was wondering if there was a possibility to live there away from the family in a room that would be paid for by the family or an organization.
Do you know a possibility or organization?
I'm also open to other suggestions, generally about living alone after graduating from high school, but on the one hand being productive and on the other hand pursuing one's hobbies and making it financially possible.
I'm really looking forward to answers 😊💗

Hello
a year abroad after school is a good idea. For your questions:
Procedure: The year abroad after school, in the Gap Year, is a larger project. You should do that systematically. There are

Thank you for the quick and detailed answer! I know that I’m very late, especially for abroad, but unfortunately I haven’t found the right thing to do so. I always worry about volunteer services that I don’t have enough time to take care of myself and go to the gym several times a week or to a sports club. Does an FSJ take a lot of time or do I think too much?

Au pair is a very bad idea!
Hi.
as an Au Pair you don’t have to live with the family in a house. For example, I had a small bungalow in the backyard.
I was outrageous with the agency Kin g aupair. You don’t have to take an agency either. I can only recommend it.
