CV with/without photo?
How do you do it and how would you recommend it?
Specifically, in this case, it is an application for a working student position in the area of product management.

Employers who depend on the presence of a photograph would simply be the wrong ones for me, because I think a lot of it and am convinced that the abandonment of photos makes the application process a whole lot more objective. And as a staff member, I would be quite wrong with an employer whose beliefs about application processes are obviously very different from mine, or ;)?
In the end, I would advise everyone to remain authentic in application processes. Whether in the question of the photo or later in conversation – if you choose the way from which you don't think much, just to please, then you just land very likely with an employer, where you don't feel very fitting and comfortable. So do it as you think it is right!
I think it's clear WITH. Then you have a picture to the person when you invite you to know who you are, as you look, can appeal to you immediately, the whole process becomes much more pleasant for both sides.
Of course, one can argue that the application process is so "objective". But the least companies will hire you because you are ugly or beautiful. In the end, what you can count and that you are comfortable in handling. Nobody wants to have a transient in the team. But, of course, you have to decide for yourself 🙂
At my time an image was compelling but without has advantages and disadvantages
