RS = Rear Speakers, de.: Rear loudspeaker., i.e. the loudspeakers standing behind one in a surround system.

The other should be CS.
CS = Center Speaker, de: Center speaker
In part also C/SUB (c)entersubdivisiona)

Most PCs have connectors for a headset at the front.
Either there are 2 connections, one for the headphone and the other for the microphone, or there is a combined connection for the headset.

At the back there are otherwise MIC-IN for the microphone
And L-OUT (LINE OUT) for speaker/headphones.

Under Windows, you can change the settings, as well as the connections if required.

that certainly does not mean CS Out OS. rs is for the rear surround speaker, cs is for the center / subwoofer.

This is for connecting 7.1 boxes. RS-Out for the rear boxes and OS-Out for the side.
