Fiber optic connection keeps dropping?

Hi, we got fiber optic yesterday (it's been connected for a month), and whenever I'm connected to the internet, the connection just drops. Even though there are no other large devices on the network. The router and modem are exactly one floor below my PC. When the connection drops and I try to reconnect, I just get the message "No connection to this network possible." Can anyone help me with this problem? I currently have the TP-Link AC1300 Wi-Fi dongle. Would a Wi-Fi card solve the problem? I'm currently considering getting the GIGABYTE GIGA GC-WIFI7 Wi-Fi 7 & Bluetooth 5.3 Wi-Fi card (PCIe x1) anyway.

You must have got a new fiber router. His Wi-Fi will probably be worse for your PC. Can have many reasons, WLAN illumination is complicated.
Network cable should help.

check the logs of the receiver whether there are breaks.

It's not the problem with glass fiber, but with your WiFi which is the weak point. Since you say it's 1 floor under you and the signal must be through any concrete walls, this can cause problems. You can buy repeaters that amplify the WiFi signal
