What was the funniest/most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you?

I was working at the fair and we sat at a table with several colleagues. There was a jacket under the side table and nobody sat there anymore.

One of the big bosses of the company came and asked “Did someone see the cone?” (so is a colleague with surname) There it was very loud and I understood “Did someone see a coat?” 🙈 I thought he said stop to a jacket coat and pointed under the neighboring table and said it’s down there. 👇🏻

The guy looked at me very funny and then looked under the table, and then I was totally pissed off and ran out.

my colleague then knocked me on my shoulder and everyone laughed except me and he said so “Geil! Just scare the Oberboss” 😂😂 and that’s how it was cleared up. My colleague told me what he had asked and I told him what I had understood and this boss thinks to this day I’m an idiot who wanted to fuck him up.
