M.2 NVMe SSD, how do you differentiate between the two interfaces?

I want to install a fast M.2 SSD on my new mainboard and find two different interfaces online, in addition to the different lengths:

I need the one in the second picture. What's the difference between it and the one in the first picture? They're called M.2 and PCIe everywhere.

The lower is a so-called M key, the upper is an A+E key. But is relatively rare to find A+E SSDs, which is used more for WIFI cards etc.

The top is M+B Key.

This is a normal m.2 SSD working with the SATA protocol.

A+E is an interface that is common for WiFi or GSM cards in laptops.

So in most cases you can see this on the notches, which in the upper picture has 2 notches in the slot, which speaks for a "SATA m.2"
The one with a notch is a "NVMe M.2"
But there are mostly still nvme SSDs to buy, for the others you have to look.

Also most SSDs come with 80mm length. This is called 2280 for width and length. And shorter SSDs must also be actively searched.
However, if you always have a shorter one, they can also be integrated. Since the mounting points can be variable.
