Use VPN on Steam for a second account?

Hi, I know it's not allowed to use a VPN to purchase games, but what if I download a game with a VPN on a second account and then play it? Will my primary account then be at risk of being banned?

If only the account is about, and not all accounts to the user.

BUT, what do you want to buy for games with VPN? This doesn't work out as easily as you need a foreign credit card, etc., if you want to use Steam's foreign shop.

VPN use to buy or activate games is absolutely legal in DE. There is no danger

Hello johanberg1214,

in theory yes. It runs on the same PC, you could trace it back. So potentially there's a risk, yes.

You undertake not to use an IP proxying or any other procedure to conceal the place of your place of residence, and this applies both with a view to circumventing geographical restrictions with regard to the content of games and to purchases at the prices not applicable to your geographical location and for other purposes of corresponding concealment. If you breach this obligation, Valve is entitled to prevent access to your user account.

I don't know what you mean by "Second Account", but that's gonna refer to all Steam accounts.

He wants to have an ACC where he has about 90% of his games on it and a 2nd where he has only a few games but bought them via VPN.

Yes, there are two normal accounts for which the terms of use apply.

So on I. I don't think that's very rare because of it, but if I think what I bought in the course of the years is almost never too uncertain.

The Mac address would not change if two users use the same PC… but as already mentioned, it is not about whether it would be possible.

This could be done by using the Mac address of the network card. But would be much more complicated if one wants to largely exclude abnormalities.

So that would be feasible, but I don't think that's going to happen.

No, that's bullshit. Valve cannot understand whether the accounts are used by one and the same person, especially since the email address will also be different. They will only block the account (if any) and not the respective IP.

The idea is that in case of a spell, only the ACC with the VPN purchase is gone.

I'm not sure if it works or if Steam would get both accs away.
