Crabs pull out ground cover?

I have two purple phantom crabs, and I recently planted eleocharis parvula as ground cover, and I noticed that they were being pulled out. At first, I thought it was the albino bristlecone catfish I have inside, but I noticed that the crabs were pulling out the plants and eating them. I was told the crabs are purely carnivorous crabs, meaning they only eat meat, but apparently that's not entirely true. Does anyone know what I can do to stop the crabs from pulling out the ground cover?

Hello Maliksivro

what could I do that the crabs the floor deckers wouldn't kick out?

No more planting.

kind regards

Feed: special crab feed, , standard crab food, green food, frozen food.

Plants are not necessarily required to resort to harder species, as the crabs like to intercept plants.
