Meaning of paramagnetism?

I need this term for a chemistry presentation and would like to know whether paramagnetism is magnetic or not. I've never figured it out.

Paramagnets in their magnetization follow the outer field, so that the magnetic field in its interior is stronger than outside. Paramagnetic materials thus tend to be drawn into a magnetic field. Without an external magnetic field, paramagnetic materials do not show magnetic field
