We have tons of birds in our garden, I'm not exaggerating.
The chirping doesn't wake me up or anything, because I always wear earplugs at night, as my father snores really loudly. He often snores at lunchtime too, and then I put in earplugs when I have to study, for example, and because it somehow makes me extremely aggressive.
I don't want to stop the chirping completely. The problem is that there's a tree right under my window, and there are always five to seven birds perched on it. I'm not allowed to trim it. I always shake the tree, and then I get about ten minutes of peace, or rather, the birds sit 3-4 meters away and chirp happily, and it doesn't bother me at all.
So the question now is, how do I get the birds to chirp a few meters further without cutting down the tree.
We don't hang any bird food in there anymore, we always hang food outside and it's about 10 meters away from the tree, but they seem to love this tree somehow. Before I shook the tree I looked carefully to see if there was a nest in there and there isn't one.
My window is closed, but the birds are really 1m in front of the window and it really hurts my ears.
I don't want to put in earplugs because I wear them almost 24/7 and my ears have already started to hurt, and my ear doctor said I should use them less often; she said it would be best if I only wore them at night.
Does anyone know how I can make the other trees and bushes in the garden more appealing to the birds? As I said, the bird feeder has already been moved; there hasn't been any food in the tree for about a year.
Otherwise, I'm glad that we have so many birds in the garden. It's always nice to be on the terrace in the summer. You can really hear a lot of different birds and we often try to identify them by their songs with the help of YouTube.
I just wish they weren't so close to my window :).

If your window is only 1m away from the tree, then put the greatest enemy of the smaller birds, the sperber, as an attractor on your window board. Maybe a very good photo in original size is enough? Also a plush cat (which looks natural). I also found the idea with the playing of predatory calls (Sperber or Habicht).
