What helps with a very thin and short tail?

Hi, I'm currently looking for a horse and have just test-ridden a 5 year old Appaloosa mix. I really like him and even if this sounds really nit-picky or something, I think his tail is really ugly. He has the thin and short hair of an Appaloosa (the mane is thin too but because it's cut into a sport mane it actually looks okay), especially the tail which is really short and thin.

Does anyone know of any remedies that could make it a little longer and perhaps a little fuller?

Appaloosa are unfortunately not known to have too much silence.

Combining little with the comb and reading the tail helps to maintain the existing tail.

The best way to strengthen the hair root directly and keep it healthy is not to look too dry, otherwise it could be that the horse pushes itself. (We take coconut oil or birch water)

I also have an Arabian Appaloosa mix and unfortunately it helps to keep the existing silence healthy.

After one year the tail is now normal long and dense 🙂

if you kill others, you have to stand this horse and look for something else.

and I lied to dahika – there are so many horse-erases that do not inherit any inherited serious eye diseases and there are so many races that are pure bred to exclude inherited HD. also genetically.

If you're called a remedy and it helps, you should immediately sell Proctor and Gamble or Unilever. I'm sure you can ask for 25 million. This is then applied to humans. billions of people are waiting for it.

Conclusion. You can't do anything. These are the genes. And just appis don't have full long hair.

By the way: I wouldn't buy the horse, because appis and carnival (and their mixes) often have very bad eye diseases. Even if the horse is still healthy, it is not unlikely that it will become ill. (Period. eye inflammation, glaucoma).

I'd never buy an appi or Knappi. Never.

at least I would let the genetic test and consider that certifies that hereditary eye diseases and brain abnormalities are excluded.

If the horse gets sick in 5 years, you can give it back.

Well. Who else does that? You hang on the animal, I hope.

No. Each hair grows average (!) about 10 cm a year. Loss is always lost, and fine hair never becomes thick. Read carefully, wash before the tournament but never go with comb or brush to avoid the loss of each individual hair. Tournament riders who do not want to compete with a lean tail, make a matching part of the hair to the tournament.

Patience. No combing sprays and no combing. Just read if it has to be.

My RB is an Arab. He's got twice as much silence as he was 1-2 years ago.

then he had lost a lot of long hair – for whatever reason.
You can't change the system! And the plant to it has carpets and their intersections.

Didn't anyone ever say you can change the systems, did you?

Can you read thoughts or how do you know that the question of hoping to change the plants? I think the questioner / the questioner is clear that you cannot change the systems. The question relates to whether there is a way to let the whistle become fuller or work, and there are possibilities for that.

Well, the question of what to do is already aimed at hope. It is possible to make a naturally thin tail/sun with nothing thicker. Maximum in extensions.

Hey!

He becomes alone longer with time, you just have to have some patience. With good care it can also be that it becomes a bit thicker, but there is no guarantee.
My pony mare naturally has a super full and thick tail, even her mistress is super dense, but my care contribution has nothing to males. The men got a little better by braiding them so that he doesn't tear out so many hairs or who are lost in the mutual care of the horses.

Look for self-mixed home products and recipes to stimulate the swelling to grow:)

Are you ok? Kindness doesn't seem to be a big one. What I described above worked great with my care horse. Of course he hasn't had such a great silence or man like my mare, but that's because of the genes and the race.
In the case of good care, a tail still looks different, usually better and fuller than if you don't do anything;)

I didn't say anything about the hair being thin. I wrote that it could be, but it doesn't have to be. And giving hope is not really, I have only given my experience.
And even if you don't think of it, you can at least formulate it kindly – and if that's not in it at least politely.

But I do not think that it would be possible for questioners to raise unfounded hopes. Appis in particular often have shaker hair. Of course you can care without ending. But it stays thin.

No, unfortunately not. You have to learn to live with that.
