Aquarium – Feeding shrimp with CO2 only for 1-2 days. Is it possible?

Hello, I'm currently remodeling my aquarium. I've currently put the shrimp in an empty 20-liter mini aquarium and supplied them with CO2 via a CO2 system for oxygen. Is this sufficient, or should I get a small backpack filter?

and supplied for oxygen supply with C02 via C02 system

???? You don't seem to realize that Co2 has nothing but nothing to do with oxygen? This is carbon dioxide – a breath poison!

There are no nitrifying bacteria without run-in filters – there is therefore the risk that the concentration of highly toxic ammonia and nitrite increases.

And even shrimps are not immune to it, even if they are still gassed with Co2 instead of oxygen ….

You should definitely dispose of the Co2 and instead pack an oxygen bubbler stone into the basin.

A backpack filter must also enter – the formation of the nitrifying bacteria takes at least. 2 – 3 weeks… so this is also useless.

Switch off half of the water daily in the tiny AQ – then nothing can happen. (respect for temperature and heat the water best with an electric kettle for heating – not via the hot water line (copper!)

For some questions here in the forum it is better not to give an answer because they are already asked with intention, as with his goldfish pond in the apartment.

yes, I absolutely agree with you – usually it is no longer worth giving an answer at all ….
