The DNA segment that codes for EPO is 6000 nucleotides long, while the functional EPO receptor protein consists of only 508 amino acids.
Develop a hypothesis that explains this phenomenon.

Loading...Does proton migration only occur over water? So the amino group takes up a H from the H20 and the carboxy group donates a proton to water? Or do amino acids always exist as zwitterions and the functional groups exchange the H+ intramolecularly?

Tipp: Bei Eukaryoten nennt man die mRNA nach der Transkription auch prä-mRNA.
