How many fish in a 120 liter aquarium?
Hello,
I currently have 3 platies, 6 Dalmatian mollies, and 5 mollies. I'd also like to add 8 armored catfish, 3 platies, 8 guppies, and mollies, bringing my total to 35 fish. There are no young, as they are only male guppies. The other fish's offspring will either be eaten or given away, so the number of 35 will remain constant.
Is that okay? Or how many of these fish can you keep in a 120-liter aquarium? 20? 30? 40? 50?
Thank you
In view of your previous question ("Aquarium fish don't understand each other?"), this would probably not be a good idea, and I find the occupation quite enough! Your suggestion is overweight in the aquarium.
You can't say that on a flat-rate basis, it always depends on the species of fish.
Better too little than too many fish.
In view of the fact that it is mainly Molly ………😂😇🤔
To give answers is slowly pointless here.
And why? It would be better to give answers and help to understand the whole, rather than to criticize the comments of other people, in which you write “nothing is” without a decent explanation.
Unfortunately, many buy themselves fish simply without getting in touch before – rather then infomate and possibly. Suddenly ask questions – but if they are answered as by you, they do not need to answer.
kind regards
hey I'm sorry if it's too late
I would say it comes to the size or longer of the animals
I think you said it's mainly mollys?
the fish are usually around 6-7cm long
with this size should perhaps fit a total of 8-13
you have gotten up
the guppies are quite small, of course
maybe you just mix all the fish so you don't have more than 16 in total?
that would have to be quite good
Yeah, that should go.
Nothing's up.
That's a lot.
Make sure the water is not sour.
With good filtering you can drive the overload, it is not recommended.
But there are many…
Problems can arise. Fish in poor filtration, algae.
Filtering has nothing to do with overlay.
Approx. 30-35
