Is my battery consumption higher in other locations?
Hello, I've noticed a few times now that my phone loses more battery power in standby mode at school than it does at home. Why?
Today it happened again, but today I also lost more than usual overnight (usually 3-4% and today about 5%). This morning I had 94% (6:55am) and now only 70% (7:51pm) and have a screen time of 2h and 8min.
Best regards

Yes, I do.
Your phone is constantly looking for reception. If you’re in a place where the reception is a little worse, the phone will use more power to search. Even if many mobile phones are in the same place (school, train station, etc.), when the flight mode is switched off, the battery life can impair.
Heat and cold also provide a shorter battery life. Heat can also damage the battery in the long term, while at cold the battery power decreases only for a short time.
Put the phone on flight mode, then it should consume as much in both cases. Differences in WLAN availability, mobile radio reception cause this.
That’s normal. The connection/distance to the transmission mast is different. At greater distance, the cell phone has to send more beams, and this costs battery power.
