My assignment is to write a short story, or better yet, a synopsis. The topic is 'Back from the Future'. My question is, are any of you creative enough to help me? I'm a bit unsure about the topic of time travel, especially since I don't want to use the cliché of a time machine. However, I don't have any other ideas either.

Is there a slight task to consider how your life could go on, what are your desires, prospects, what are you expecting in the future? Many are set today so that you can suspect something where the train goes. What is the specific task? Because I think that depending on the subject evtl should also be considered how far you should travel to the future and what is more important (the personal way of life or the changes in the world, new inventions etc)

– Protagonist dreams of the future
– Protagonist dies short and sees what
– Time travel capsule
…
In the first two proposals, you start the vision of the future and then “wake up” the protagonist.
You could focus on the REACH.
Someone was (maybe only with his thoughts, plans or dreams) in the future and is back now.
For example: Someone has money, buys a lottery ticket, is then with his thoughts in a happy future that he paints himself. Then the lottery draw is, of course, he has not won, now he is from his future dreams and air locks again back. What would have to be done in him, so that he takes his present heart, instead of losing himself in the future?
Think about a future and report about it.
