In natural plant growth, nitrogen is the most important deficiency component and the maximum growth is determined by the component that is 'used up' as 1. In the meantime, 8 billion people live on Earth and there are only approx. 2000 m2 agricultural area per person! They need not only for food, also for paper, or cotton, or chemicals that have a natural basis, such as oils or soaps.

In addition to the chemical industry, the second largest, although small, part goes over the production of nitric acid and then nitrates into the production of explosives…

Because the production of ammonia has only enabled us to operate agriculture on today's scale.

As it is therefore essential for food production in the end, it makes sense that the largest quantities are used here.

Because it has a greater benefit for our diet.

The nitrogen in ammonia increases the yields of the plants.

What would you use the ammonia for?

Ammonium nitrate is prepared from ammonia. It is consumed in waste quantities worldwide.
