Digging box is used as a litter box?

Hey,

I have 2 rabbits that only have a digging box in their “run” (my room).

My mother has two cats.

And one of them uses this sandbox as a toilet.

That's why I have to replace the entire soil today, as she currently has diarrhea… (🤮) (she is already under veterinary treatment)

How can I “explain” to this cat that this is not a toilet?!

I've rearranged this box several times!

You can't pamper her. If you'd have to lock your room in such a way that they can't get in there anymore, so the digging box can't be used as a toilet.

Otherwise, it only does not help to offer earth or the like, but it is not the optimum for the rabbits, but the cats will probably not use it as a toilet.

If you want to continue to offer earth or similar in the digging box, you must be able to close your room so that the cats can't get in.

By closing the door to your room and not letting the cats in.

Then put the budding box away and give the rabbit another way to buddle.
You will not be able to pamper your cat's pathetic diarrhea, as she finds the budding crate better than her cat clot. It's like cats.
