Alternative to Socatyl?
Is there an ointment comparable to Socatyl? My horses are kept in an open stable, so they occasionally get scratches. I've always found Socatyl great because it dries quickly and stays where it's supposed to. When I rub zinc ointment, etc., on them, it ends up everywhere but on the wound.
Air is a great alternative to all ointments.
The crumbs simply let be crumbs – the skin grows or so again.
If there’s nothing more than that, then Aloe Vera Spray or Octenisept on it and ready.
I’ve never used zinc ointment or socatyl ointment – I don’t know what. Most of the time, it’s a crust on the wounds.
I don’t want a thousand to fly in the end.
Healing earth on it and finished – even with Aloe spray there are no flies.
I’ll take Betaisodona. Mostly, in the summer the flies do not set up. Because often there is no need for anything (autumn, winter).
did you take that fat?
slightly antibiotic, keeps the fly away, the other horses lick and don’t snap around, keeps the edges of the wound elastic, so that it cures almost without a scar
Unfortunately, it lifts me in the smell 🤢
to keep nase and through. After 15 minutes you will not smell it anymore. must be thin.
but ask me how I can deal with all the flying sprays. Teebaumöl – allergic, citronella – allergic… we have such a wonderful oil-based product. stinks like hell, but I finally don’t drink my eyes and the nose stays free.
my opa has always said:
if it stinks, it’s good.
You could try healing earth.
What… why is the zinc ointment with you “on the migrant”?
Either they smear it with the tail, on other horses, on the wall etc.
