I understand everything except the green part. Does anyone know how to determine that if u <-2/w there are no zeros or two? I don't generally understand what they mean by u element [w,-2] Can someone please help me?

Why can't compact convergence be described by a norm?

For example, if I have a sequence of functions (f_n) defined on the circular disk B_r(0), which then converges to 0, then there should be no norm p on C(B_r(0)) such that (p(f_n)) converges to 0.

The correct answer is C, but I don't know what calculations I need to do to get that result. I've never really studied this topic in general and don't know where to start. Is there a good video you recommend, or rules I can remember?

Wer hat denn die Tabelle “verbrochen”? Des Mathematikers Herz muss bluten, wenn da in einer Zelle 200 = 60.000.000 € steht und die letzte Zeile ist auch noch falsch, denn 44.000.000 – 88.600 = 43.911.400. Zudem fehlen auch noch die im kaufmännischen Bereich häufig zu findenden Zeichen, ob etwas addiert oder subtrahiert wird.

Deckungsbeitrag/E   = Verkaufspreis/E - Variable Kosten/E
                    = 300.000 €       - 80.000 €
                    = 220.000 €
Gesamtumsatz in Einheiten = 200
Gesamtumsatz In EURO      = 200 * Verkaufspreis/E
                          = 200 * 300.000 €  
                          = 60.000.00 €
Summe variable Kosten = Variable Kosten/E * verk. Einheiten
                      = 80.000 € * 200
                      = 16.000.000 €
DB/Bruttogewinn       = Gesamtumsatz - variable Kosten
                      = 60.000.000 € -  16.000.000 € 
                      = 44.OOO.OOO €
Gewinn                = Bruttogewinn - Fixkosten
                      = 44.OOO.OOO € - 88.600 €
                      = 43.911.400 €
