Get rid of stubborn lice?

Hello,

My family and I have had lice for ages and just can't seem to get rid of these nasty creatures. This is our tenth infestation (I'm 14 now). These creatures just won't go away. We comb every day, vacuum every day, and repeat the process constantly. My problem, however, is that I have very curly and unruly hair, which makes it even more difficult.

We also change our bed linens every day and do a lot of cleaning.

My mother really wants me to cut it, but that's really where I'm at. My hair grows extremely slowly because I have half African roots, and I've vowed never to cut my hair again (except for the ends). Does anyone have any tips or experience? We've tried every lice treatment out there and are at our wits' end. 🙁

This really sounds like a challenge, especially when several people are affected by your family. I would use more radical measures in the apartment, in addition to the local treatment of hair. I also don’t think that hair would cut something, but focus on the environment even more. How hot do you wash your laundry? I would wash them 90 degrees, many washing machines do not reach this temperature anymore. In addition, the pillows and blankets should also be washed, not only the covers. The bed environment should be as clear as possible. No cuddly animals, no other pillows. Clean the mattress. The sofa should also be cleaned regularly. It’s best to get you over a blanket that’s constantly being replaced. Chairs and seating also clean. Car seats as well. Dispose a lot of dust and the bag. I didn’t have good experiences with cold. Head covers, bicycle helmets also wash or clean or replace. Good luck!

Maybe you could smooth your hair first and then use the lice shampoo. I’d do it all more often, so you really don’t have a single whistle on your head.

Good luck, I had lice myself and know how annoying that can be.

Turn to the health office, a professional delaunching of the durtch apartment must be made a pest fighter. And you should all be an official doctor, delausing and quarantine. Finally, you are also a threat to the general public.

The problem seems to be that you don’t clean up your apartment carefully enough and you’re therefore always on the new one.

All beds must be carefully cleaned, bed linen/ pillows/ duvets and also towels, cuddly animals and clothes washed

Only treating the hair is absolutely nothing.

they do not just sit in the hair, you also have to steal your bedding etc.
