Copulation in summer?

Hello folks,

I still have a couple of wild plum seedlings that I'd like to graft onto other plum varieties and peaches. I'm getting cuttings and would like to try propagating them. However, online information only says December or January. Unfortunately, as always, the guides only talk about each other without mentioning any personal experience. I would appreciate any tips.

In Prunus, the oculation is recommended and if the bark solubility of the base fits and the noble rice has matured eyes, this would probably be the better choice in the coming weeks. (Typically from July)

What just left would be behind the bark, but the nobles should still rest – therefore difficult.

As an alternative to the oculation, the chipping would soon also go.

I've also copied Prunus in August, but it takes a lot of luck and appropriate circumstances.

The counselors write off each other because generations have already tried out everything possible and one has a basis of knowledge.

… and I write from the guides *grin*

I've already finished several times – with success.

The copulation must take place in the resting phase of the tree. So in a time window November – January.

The problem with the plum is that it begins to blossom very early, with the apple it would theoretically also be possible in February mid March.

As soon as the juices rise, the copulation must be completed.

Copulation is a refining of the growth rest period. The expelled shoots of the nobles are twisted
