Is the presence of algae in this quantity normal?

Hey, I've recently noticed green algae forming in my aquarium. It looks like large, long threads of fabric, but it's very sticky, and you can basically curl it up around a wooden stick and remove it. Most of the time, these narrow, green "snakes" float in the water. Is this size of algae normal and harmless? Or do I need to intervene?

Thank you very much for the tips and a quiet Sunday night.🌐

I also had Armano shrimps eating this thread and otherwise it could be that too much food stored and thus the algae have food.

with us it has helped with 10 armano shrimp very well the slightly bigger shreds get out and the shrimp hold it in the shaft and eat the rest

ps there are sometimes poorano shrimps relatively cheap on ebay or at certain retailers have no worries when you order them nothing happens to them and in the normal case they arrive at home
