Keeping crested geckos together with vampire crabs?

For about 3 weeks now I have been running a small project in the form of a paludarium in which I want to keep both vampire crabs and crested geckos. However, I am now worried because the crabs are not very big at 2-4 cm and might be eaten by the gecko. Does anyone know anything about this?

The crown gecko definitely eats baby crabs. I'm not sure about the adults.

What works well together are virgin geckos and vampire crabs.

Although the adults may eat the young of the other species, there are usually enough offspring of both species to compensate.
