Books for computer science studies?
Hey,
I'll be starting my dual computer science degree with a focus on machine learning at the beginning of October and wanted to ask what books you could recommend. I've now completed my FHR and can do basic math, such as:
- Analysis
- Differential calculus / integral calculus
- Algebra basics (terms, equations, logarithm laws, functions, root laws, etc.)
- Geometric basics (area, volume calculation, etc.)
In the first year of study, these topics should be covered:
- Mathematics (Linear Algebra, Analysis)
- Theoretical Computer Science I & II
- Programming (C, Java)
- Computer Engineering
etc.
Do you have any good books that I can use to further educate myself?
MFG
Heuser, Kowalsky, and Bronstein… they're all available at the University Library… no need to buy them…
Okay, thank you very much. Can I still borrow books from the University Library even if I haven't started my studies yet?
Well, I guess you need at least your student ID…
Hmm, okay, too bad. I'll check the regular library, maybe they'll have something there.
