Which soap for the tail?

Hi,

I want to wash my foster horse's tail soon. Can you recommend a soap that's not too expensive? PS: My foster horse isn't gray.

Thank you very much ♥️

There is actually enough (lukewarm) water, but you can also just use a bit of shampoo from you if you don't use it all your nose long, or an antiallergenic or baby shampoo or, of course, extra horse shampoo.

Please make sure that the bottom remains dry if it is no longer so warm and please do not use too much product, the tail has an important function and is urgently needed by the horses, especially the offs, just now when switching to wet/wet weather. If the full of silicones, oil, etc., the horse can often no longer set up the hair reasonably at the approach and the rain/water also simply runs through.

If you do this only MAL, and as a horse has no basic skin problems, you can do anything. Neutral cleaner is never wrong. And horse shampoo doesn't cost the world – is significantly cheaper in big bottles and better for the horse than what you take for yourself. But if you don't want to buy anything extra, that's what it is.
This is usually not necessary anyway – usually clear water is quite enough.

If you really only wash the whistle below the whistle, it doesn't matter what you take, because then nothing comes to the skin, but only to the dead hair.

I simply take cheap shampoo from the drugstore, others have been using soap for years, both works. Just make sure you're really just being slapped underneath the whistle. As a rule, this is also the much more soiled part of the tail.

gives a medium that is called "mane and tail shampoo". This is favorable and very good and it is adapted to the acid-protection jacket of the horse skin, which has a much more acidic level than human skin.

I've already bought it in the country trade, but also in the special post shop.

eighth, if you use other shampoo, it is essential that no silicone is present and no microplastic (acrylates)

In principle, I always take the own brand of DM, namely the neutral shampoo without fragrances.

I wash out my fecal water samples with clear water every day.
