Is this palm tree still sprouting?

Hello dear community,

I cut down these two palm trees about five weeks ago. Unfortunately, they were exposed to somewhat cold temperatures in my conservatory.

Now I wonder if anything will come of these tribes?
The trunks themselves appear stable, no mold or anything like that to be seen… but unfortunately nothing is moving.

My question now is whether this still needs time or whether I did something wrong???

I would be very happy to receive answers and tips.
