Can you do BF17 together with A2?
Hello everyone,
I just turned 17 and now I want to get my BF17 driver's license. However, since I also really enjoy riding two wheels and have been riding a 125cc motorcycle for a year, and before that, a 25cc moped, I'd also really like to get an A2 license. I know you can get the A2 license at the same time as the B license, so I'm wondering if I can get the A2 license at the same time as the BF17 license to save money? Or should I wait a year to get both?
My second question is, can anyone recommend an affordable machine that I can drive with the A2?

Hello,
You can only start the A2 at 17 1/2 and for the simplified promotion you also have to have the A1 for two years.
Just talk to the driving school and ask whether it makes sense and is cost-effective to upgrade from A1 to A2 together with class B.
Believe me, they have experience with it 😉
If yes, then wait – if no, then start with class B / BF17 now.
best regards
Michael
Just get the BF17 now and wait two years until you've had your A1 license. Then you can just take the practical test (I don't know if you'll have to take the theory test again) and get your A2 license for about €200.
Wait until you're 18, then the A2 is cheaper. It's called step-by-step upgrade (only possible if you have an A1).
Just do the BF17 like that.
If you want to do both, you'll have to wait until you're 18. But it won't be any cheaper then.
There are many types of motorcycles. You first have to decide on a type: chopper, sports bike, enduro, cross, etc.
Unfortunately it doesn't work and BF17 and A1 are also a bad combination.
Wait another 6 months and then start the A2 (motorcycle) and normal car driving license at 17.5 years old.
If you do it together, you'll save money and time and have your license in time for your 18th birthday.
Accompanied driving from age 17 is simply parental driving school. It doesn't make you more mobile; you can still let your parents drive you, but you can swap seats occasionally.
