Experiences with riding pads?

Hello, my dears,

I'm looking for a riding pad for my 165cm mare. There are countless brands, and to be honest, I'm a little unsure which one is the right one. I've looked at the Brockmann and Barefoot pads (both the physio and the "regular" ones). Now I'm hoping you might be able to recommend one or tell me which pad has which advantages and disadvantages.
Thank you very much in advance

The disadvantage of a pad is always the lack of buffering/pressure distribution eg Horse rider and back, as the well-fitting saddle conveys. With ironing, pressure peaks occur in the area of suspension. In addition, they are often not particularly stable on the back.

If you want to use a pad – which never replaces the well-fitting saddle – then please do something high quality like the Signum Dressage. Yeah, much more expensive than the ones you mentioned, but worth his money. Neither Brockamp (if this is meant by Brockmann, the name unfortunately tells me nothing…) nor Barefoot are pads that I find good. Especially the Barefoot Physio puts the rider so wide, I find it strange.

I have Barefoot. It's really good, but it's very funny to you. At that time the Brockamp wanted what was not available

I think Signum also has pads that put a very nice

Yes the Signum Pads put perfectly, provide hold and actually release the spine!

Hey, try that 🙂 I got it myself. It's a bit more expensive, but it's worth it:) At 165 I don't know if size fits small horse. But it's super convenient to sit on it 🙂
