What to do with valuables on the beach in Fiumicino?

Hello,

I'm going on vacation with a friend at the beginning of July. Our destination is Rome. We arrive at Fiumicino Airport. Since we still have a few hours until we can check into our hotel, we want to use the time to go to the nearby beach. But we also want to take a day during our vacation where we can unwind and go to the beach. However, I've noticed a problem. There are only two of us, which means we don't have anyone we can trust with our valuables.

Does anyone know the area? Can anyone tell me if there are any options for renting lockers or other alternatives for storing valuables.

I searched the internet for solutions, but most of them just gave me tips on how to hide valuables. But I don't want to have to constantly think about my valuables, for example, whether they're out of their proper place at this very moment.

I look forward to your answers.
Thanks.

For decades, we have just left the valuables lying in place, hiding a bit, not immediately visible, and that's enough.

Never got away.

No one pays attention to you;-) And certainly not with just one backpack:D

Don't worry about that.

Hi.

From the airport directly to the beach is a nonsense 🙄 there are about 30-40 km from Rome to the beach would check in first day Rome and if you still want to drive off to the beach by trains you are relatively fast there. As a rule, you can leave the luggage at the hotel even if you are not allowed to go to the room.

I would check in and make safes at the reception at the hotel for storage in the safe. It usually goes.

You can leave your luggage in the locker at the airport, take valuables with you. There are too two of you, then you have to change and one stays with things while the other goes to the water. I know it's kind of stupid, but that would be the simplest solution.
Another way would be a water pack – a watertight bag and take it into the water
