What kind of spatula is this?
Hello everyone,
At work, I use spatulas like the one I photographed. I wanted to get one for home, too, as I find it really useful. The spatula measures 25mm x 107mm without the handle, is exactly 1mm thick, and is rigid. I think it's made of stainless steel.
What is this type of spatula called? Is it even available for purchase?
Because it's not a painter's spatula. I have no idea what a Japanese spatula is. It can't be a plasterer's spatula either; like painters, they need a flexible blade.
Thank you in advance
It looks more like a "cat knife". We used to have them in a slightly different form, with a light tip.

Wow, thanks. That's what the knife looks like. Thank you
I'm glad I could help and thank you for the star. Then you can tell a boss what the "knife" means.😃😃
Looks like a mixing/stirring saddle.
What is it used for?
I work in a disc production. Thus, sealing compound may be smeared into the interspaces of two or three-fold discs in order to seal them. These are insulation discs as they are very often found in windows or house facades.
Not even my employer can tell me what kind of spatula this is
Yours looks a little short.

You look black, too. Like this:

This blade is hardened, so should be rigid, not stainless (I guess)
Hmm, right. I'll try it out. You can still send back afterwards 🙂
Just because there is? Is also 1mm thick according to a buyer.
Hmm… a good hint, thank you. But he's flexible.
That can be. We sometimes need a flat face
Okay, I might have a look at construction business. I only threw away such one from my old tool box half a year ago, because I knew nothing to start, and she had already over tens of years😂
Oh man 🤣

You can buy something in DIY stores
I was in 3 out of 3 construction markets in my small town. Didn't find anything comparable. I wanted to research on the Internet, but don't find the right term
